SD Hardware are looking for the right candidate to take part in a customer service role which will be varied and exciting dealing and assisting the warehouse manager with daily tasks.
The Apprentice’ Role
We here at SD Hardware are looking for a hardworking and efficient warehouse Operative to help and assist in the smooth running of all warehouse concerning activities. The successful candidate must be able to follow standard operating procedures and work in a methodical and tidy manner alongside the rest of the team.
Your daily role will be assisting the warehouse manager with daily tasks including: Preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup according to the days schedule, Receiving and processing warehouse stock products, Performing inventory controls and keeping quality standards high.
Working Hours: You are required to work 40 hours a week, specific hours wil be discussed with employer with progression of application.
Wages: £160.00 per week, based on a 40 hour week. Any overtime above the 40 hours per week, will be paid at the appropriate national minimum wage depending on age.
Holiday: 28 days holiday entitlement (including bank holidays) will be paid each year, during the course of your apprenticeship.

You will need excellent customer service and great communication skills for this role, you will also need ot be efficient and be able to work on your own and in a team in order to prioritise workloads.
The successful candidate will need to be motivated, hardworking, punctual and a team player.
GCSE Grades A-C or equivalent are desired but not essential, however a good mental attitude is essential.
The Apprenticeship in Customer Service consists of:
◾Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration
◾Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT
◾Health and Safety Certificate
◾Emergency First Aid
Most aspects of your training will be delivered on-site by the employer, where you will gain all the skills, knowledge and experience to assist you in this role. Your duties will vary from day to day, and throughout your on-site learning process you will work closely with experienced members of staff.
You will have regular visits every six to eight weeks from your designated assessor, who will help you and monitor your progress throughout your apprenticeship programme.
